Back on Track is committed to unique and sustainable textiles, with a focus on long-term impact. By crafting products with extended lifespans and stringent quality standards, we aim to reduce the demand for new items, contrary to the prevalent disposable trend. Our sustainability philosophy is rooted in care for the environment and support for global goals outlined in Agenda 2030.

Longevity and Environmental Impact:

Mistra, the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Environmental Research, emphasizes the crucial role of product lifespan in resource utilization and environmental impact. We advocate for products with extended usage to decrease our overall ecological footprint by up to 70%.

Enduring Effect and Care:

Our functional textiles incorporate minerals that offer lasting positive effects on tissues and blood circulation. These minerals are permanently integrated into high-performance fabrics, ensuring durability and minimizing waste. We also promote care through maintenance instructions and clevercare labels for eco-friendly washing and proper handling.

CSR - Corporate Social Responsibility: Long-Term Partnerships and Ethical Principles:

We have established enduring relationships with our producers and suppliers, built on trust and mutual understanding. Our focus is on secure working conditions and valuing the knowledge of factory workers. Through long-term collaboration, we strive to exert a positive influence and ensure high labor standards. We aim to choose suppliers actively working to enhance their processes and who can inform us about the practices and conditions of their subcontractors.

On previous inspection trips to our suppliers' factories, we found that these production facilities meet our standards regarding workplace conditions and employees' social rights. On-site visits revealed modern workplaces with educated, knowledgeable, and experienced employees. Our assessment is that they are highly valued for their professional expertise.

Our code of conduct, based on human rights and the prohibition of child labor, is the foundation of our responsibility. We adhere to the international standard ISO 26000 and require our suppliers to confirm in writing their commitment to human rights, social rights, and a safe working environment. Our common goal is to combat corruption and promote a fair and secure workplace for all.

Sustainable Manufacturing for a Greener Future:

We are reshaping our business model and strategies to minimize environmental impact. By supporting eco-friendly production methods, implementing water recycling systems, and reducing textile waste, we strive for a circular economy. We align ourselves with strict requirements for environmental reporting, accounting, and labeling in various European countries. This effort provides us with a clear overview of our material usage and enables improvements throughout the entire production chain. To avoid both overproduction and waste, we limit our orders and purchases to what is specifically demanded. Our goal is to derive the maximum benefit from the textiles we use in our production and incorporate as much existing material as possible. Shipping by boat is always our preferred choice. Maritime transport typically consumes less energy than trucks or trains and can carry larger quantities. Shipping is the most efficient way to transport large quantities of goods, resulting in low carbon dioxide emissions per transported unit. Our containers are well-filled, and we often coordinate shipments between our warehouses to maximize space utilization. We are also working to reduce the volume of our packaging.
