An innovative textile technology

FIR is constantly emitted from every living human being and animal. This type of energy is invisible to the naked eye, but can be perceived with the help of a thermal camera - used for such things as night vision and heat detection.

The minerals incorporated into our fabrics have the capacity to harness the wearer's own body heat. In other words: the Welltex® technology makes our products capable of absorbing and then emitting FIR. This makes the materials in our products “active” - and infuses them with the "Back on Track Effect".

Far infrared energy appears to have particularly beneficial effects on biological tissues and is well known to stimulate blood flow. In addition, FIR is often perceived to relieve stiffness and discomfort in muscles and joints, as well as optimise performance and support recovery.

A multitude of applications - for people, pets and horses

Back on Track may have started out as a company dedicated to relieving the ailments of humans. But we have since developed into a company offering a wide range of products aimed at animals, especially horses and dogs.

We have found that Welltex® also greatly benefits members of the animal kingdom - often suffering from the very same problems we do. Products from Back on Track are therefore often used to alleviate conditions such as osteoarthritis, discomfort or stiffness in joints, overexertion of muscles, strains, swelling and inflammation.

The minerals are responsible for the effect of FIR - however the minerals do not retain heat, make products warm or provide insulation. Such properties would depend solely on the choice of materials. Our functional fabrics are chosen depending on the desired properties of the end product, such as breathability, stretchiness, elasticity, warmth, softness, moisture wicking ability, durability, thickness and stability.

The design gives additional properties to the product, such as shape, anatomical fit and comfort for the wearer. We always strive to make our products practical and easy to use in everyday life.
